Why we built KAARYU

Across India, millions of people reach public services through a neighbourhood service centre. The operator behind the counter fills forms, checks documents and explains what is needed, often for the same family again and again.

That work is skilled, and much of it is repetitive. The same name, address and documents are typed in for every new service. A missing paper or an outdated form can send an application back, and the customer has to return.

KAARYU began with a simple question: what if a centre could enter a customer's details once, know exactly what each service needs before starting, and hand over a complete, well-prepared application every time?

We are building KAARYU together with the centres that will use it, starting with a pilot in Telangana. Our aim is simple: help every service centre take a customer from need to done.
