For citizens

Scan. Prepare. Get served.

At a service centre that uses KAARYU Smart Queue, you can prepare your application on your own phone while you wait. There is no app to install.

Using the centre's QR code

Four steps on your phone

  1. Scan the poster.

Point your phone camera at the KAARYU QR poster in the centre. A web page opens with the centre's name and hours. Choose your language from the tabs at the top.

  2. Choose a service and confirm your mobile.

Read the short notice, tick it if you agree, and enter the one-time code sent to your mobile. Nothing personal is asked before that.

  3. Fill in and add documents.

Enter your details and take photos of the documents the service needs. Your voter ID and some other documents can be read to save typing: check each value, then confirm, correct or reject it.

  4. Send it to the counter.

You get a case reference and a status page. An operator reviews everything with you at the counter before anything is printed.

Not sure which service you need? On the service step, describe your need instead: see below. You can also search on our home page and see what you will need before you go.

About the wait. When the centre has enough history, the page shows a wait range. It is an estimate, not a promise. A new centre shows "Estimating wait time" instead.

From need to done

From what you need to a pack ready to sign

Describe your need.

Type what you need in Telugu or English, or Telugu in English letters such as "aadaayam" for income. KAARYU suggests up to three services and shows the words that matched. You pick the one that fits. If nothing matches, the page says so and shows the list of services.

The words you type stay on your phone. They are not sent or saved.

The official form, prepared.

For many services, the official form is prepared by the centre for review and printing, with your confirmed details in place. You check it with the operator before you sign. For some forms the centre prints the blank official form with a details sheet to copy from.

Affidavits and bonds.

If your service needs one, the centre prepares it ready to print. Page 1 is laid out for stamp paper and the rest prints on plain paper. A last page explains the steps in English or Telugu.

If you need an affidavit or bond

  1. Ask the office whether it accepts this format, and which stamp paper value it needs, before you buy stamp paper.
  2. Print page 1 on the stamp paper and the rest on plain paper. Read everything and fill any blank lines by hand.
  3. Sign it in front of a notary. Do not sign it in advance.
  4. Bring the original back to the centre.

The draft is not legal advice, and KAARYU cannot say whether an office will accept it.

Your application pack

Your status page shows what is done and what is left, line by line:

  • The official form
  • Affidavit or bond, stamp paper and the notary's signature, if your service needs them
  • Your documents
  • Fee, paid at the counter
  • Lodged with the office by the centre

A line shows as done only when the centre has recorded it. Until the centre lodges your application, the pack says so.

Prepare at home

Prepare at home, finish at any centre. Coming soon

Start your application on your own phone or computer before you visit a centre. It is free. KAARYU shows what the service needs, and you type your details, add your documents and see what is still missing.

A code for any KAARYU centre.

For services finished at a centre, you get a home code to take to any KAARYU centre. The centre sees nothing of your preparation until you give it the code sent to your mobile by SMS. Then the operator checks everything with you, prints, and the centre lodges it with the office.

Online services, done yourself.

For services applied for on an official portal, such as PAN and voter registration, KAARYU guides you step by step and prepares your photo and documents to the portal's size limits. You file it on the official portal yourself; KAARYU does not submit anything. A KAARYU centre can help if you get stuck.

Less typing, you confirm.

Your voter ID and some other documents can be read to save typing. You confirm or correct every value before it is used.

Nothing left lying around.

You can cancel at any time. An unfinished preparation is deleted 30 days after you last worked on it.

Coming soon. Preparing at home is not open yet. Until then, visit a KAARYU centre: where the centre uses Smart Queue, you can prepare on your phone while you wait.

Continue my application

Closed the page, or using another phone?

  1. Scan the centre's QR poster again.
  2. Tap Continue my application.
  3. Enter the same mobile number and the code sent to it.

Your status page opens again. Only one phone can hold your application at a time, so the earlier phone is signed out.

The status page

It shows each step in plain words: received, being prepared, action needed (with what to bring), ready at the counter, and completed at the centre. Below the steps, your application pack shows what is done and what is left.

You can check it at any time, even after the centre has closed. New applications can be started only during the centre's opening hours.

If the centre has switched on SMS updates, you also get a short SMS when something changes.

Your information

Privacy in plain words

Your code is your permission.

Your details are used only after you agree to the notice and enter the one-time code sent to your mobile.

Only what the service needs.

Each service asks only for the details and documents that service requires.

No Aadhaar on the phone page.

The phone page does not accept Aadhaar documents. If a service needs one, show it at the counter.

Saved details, only with your code.

If you chose to save your details with KAARYU, another centre can use them only when you give it your one-time code, and only for that one application.

Safe on a shared phone.

The page address holds no personal details. After you send your application, the next person to scan on the same phone starts fresh and sees nothing of yours.

SMS say very little.

An SMS names the centre and says what to do next. It never contains your name, the service or your documents.

KAARYU is software used by independent service centres. It is not a government website. KAARYU does not submit applications to any government office: the centre lodges your application, and the office alone decides on it.
